If you want to write fiction, but don't want to be restricted by set timetables, then this 'workshop in a book' will not only save you money, it will allow you the freedom of setting your own timetable and/or deadlines.
We all know that you have to stand out to get your work published. But if you don't know or understand the concepts needed for writing fiction, how do you do that?
Simple; you don't.
In those early days of my writing career, I attended a gazillion workshops, but not one of them taught the basic and essential concepts of fiction writing. When it was suggested I teach fiction writing online, I sat down and mapped out the course, ensuring I included the fundamental information that I could never find.
The information is presented in such a way that new writers can understand it, but just as importantly, more experienced writers also benefit.
The book includes all the information taught in the online workshops, plus some additional information never before released. There are loads more exercises than the original workshop. Four bonus sections are included in the ebook.
Here's what you'll learn for the low price of just US$25:
- How to create Dazzling Openings - and why you need to do so
- How to Create Characters that are more like real people
- The difference between Motivation and Conflict, and why you must use them in your stories
- What Emotion is, and how you can use it to draw your readers to each character
- Ways to Think Outside the Square. You'll learn how to send your story in a totally new direction, and how it helps to sell stories
- What impact the Twist at the End can have, and why you should use them
- Methods of Finding Ideas that you didn't think existed
- Selling Your Work is easier than you think!
- Entering Contests can boost your writing career (and doesn't have to cost a fortune)
- Marketing Yourself *Bonus ebook with this lesson!
- Writing Articles for Publicity
- 25 Places to Submit Your Articles
- More on Marketing - getting a domain name, website, and much more
- Formatting your Work and the different requirements for short stories and novels
If you're serious about your writing, and I'm sure you are, you'll want to learn to write better. Not only do you need to continuously strive for a higher standard of writing, you must also make yourself known. This ebook will help immensely with both of these important issues.
This is probably the most unorthodox workshop you will ever undertake. You will discover new and unusual ways of writing, and techniques you didn’t know existed. You'll find out how to unleash hidden chambers in your imagination, and will be guided toward your full potential.
The workshop is suitable for writers of all skill levels from the very beginner to widely published. And the techniques taught are applicable to both novels and short stories.
I'm not going to go on and on about the book; if you want to get published, you need to learn as much as possible about the craft. This interactive workshop will assist you in your efforts.
A high number of past participants in the online workshops have become published authors either in novels or short stories since their participation, but there is no guarantee or promise of this happening.

Carolyn Howard-Johnson, Author
Wright uses one of my favorite words, "recycle." In The Frugal Book Promoter: How to Do What Your Publisher Won't, I use it to encourage writers to publish the same articles in many different places in order to get clips, build the packages writers need to sell their books to an agents or publishers and, once published, to sell their books. Cheryl encourages her readers to "recycle" the sections in her workbook, each time acquiring new ideas but she is careful to explain exactly how to do that and still plumb the depth of a writer's mind to get the inspirational juices flowing anew with each use.
