The words written in the past
Like an echo that comes back to ring
With the sounds of sweetness,
fills my soul
Crystal tears come
Because Your spirit speaks through Your words
It is a treasure I discovered
Left locked away
It comes
To reawaken me to the beauty of Your word
Captured on pages
They fill my heart with a joy only God can give
A love that will never cease
For it is the beginning that never ends
I kneel and pray
How blessed my life has been
For only You could make me live
In the past and in the days to come
The words of life are written upon my heart,
A song that beats to a tune
That You are always in my heart
In oneness with my spirit
Of a love eternal that will never end
It whispers the sounds of Your love,
My God who came and brought
Me life anew
