Reginald thinks it would be fun to go to war to defend his country and his way of life, only to find out how utterly wrong he was.
'london means something' introduces us to Reginald in the year 2135. He embarks on a mission of honour only to find himself a prisoner and fighting not only for his life but his very sanity. The Renites only want what they need in order to survive and the rest of the universe has to stop them or they will cease to exist. As in any war, fought anywhere, only one side can win.

Rotation 22
God! This is insane! Even worse that our worst nightmares about past wars. We have suffered almost complete defeat. The Group Whip has put all ships on a ‘run at your pleasure’ order and my Leader has ordered us to retreat, if possible. Some of the men have tried teleporting down to the colony in small groups but we haven’t heard if any of them have made it. Our rations are running low and water pellets are selling for a thousand new coins each. I pray I die quickly. What must it be like to float in space, each molecule looking for the next, for eternity? I try to hold my molecules together.
