This prequel recounts the defining moments in Nayla Treeborn's life that forged her into a deadly warrior, a great captain and a legend amongst the people of Imago
This prequel to Imago Book One: Tales From the West begins at the height of the turmoil that will determine if indeed there will be a Third Age of Peace.
Beseiged by the enemy from the east and now immersed in war with soldiers of the Dark Army from the west, Nayla Treeborn and her people are about to engage in the next great war to decide the fate of all mankind and Elves in Imago.
In a desperate attempt to deliver word to the Elf King of Wyndwood and those of the alliance for a call to arms, she is the last surviving messenger sent forth by her people. Now, trapped in a storm at the top of the world, she fights to survive the deadly elements in a strange land.
Despised by Elves and shunned by mortals, she must now find the courage to make a place in this world, and the compassion to save those who keep her at arm's-length.

Professional Reviews
Writers Digest International Book Contest
Rated on a scale of 1 to 5 (1 being poor, 5 being excellent) the books are judged on plot, character development, grammar and cover design. 'Imago Book Three: A Warrior's Tale' received a rating of 5 in all categories.
Judge's Comment: "This is one of the best fantasies I've ever read. The characters are believable and the mythological world described in such a way that it seems like a real place. The dialogue is realistic and easy to follow. I particularly like the maps of Imago and the key to pronunciation of the important names. This is a well written and produced book. Take the time to talk about your books on all the fantasy listserves. I believe libraries and social and service groups would enjoy hearing about how you came to write your books."

Imago Book Three: A Warrior's Tale" without a second thought tops the list of books I've read this year. The complex art of the epic is one of the hardest to tackle, but L.T. Suzuki finds the blend between action and story-telling that has eluded so many before her. Truly, this is a masterpiece all will enjoy...
The action sequences really impressed me. It's so hard to read an epic battle without some of the narration taking odd turns and dulling over the brutality, but this has an excellent, free-flowing narrative that cuts through the gloss, puts you right in the heat of the battle, and presents combat as it is, graphic and true to its style.
Overall, I loved this story and can't wait to order the rest in the series to continue on. I'd recommend this story to anyone and everyone as it follows along as the next big thing in literature. L.T. Suzuki's style is so fluid and smooth that anyone can read it, and anyone who finds this series will become enraptured to it.
Hopefully, more people will discover this series and love it just as much as I did.

A Warrior's Tale is Ms. Suzuki's best work to date! I found it thoroughly fascinating and another quick read. This books takes us back to Nayla's beginning as we follow her young half-Elf/half-human life as it leads up to Book One. Nayla's early life is full of suffering, hardship, prejudice and of course, many battles. The author's descriptions of the rugged training of the Kagai Warriors, their battle strategies and their combat tactics are so authentic that it rivals the Go Rin No Show (Book of Five Rings), written by the great swordsman Miyamoto Musashi.
This book is a complex story of love, loyalty, duty and Nin Tai (perseverance of the spirit) against all odds. It caused me to reflect upon my own life. To me, that is what makes a great writer; the ability to enlighten the reader about him or herself, to force one to look inside. This is truly a gift that Ms. Suzuki possesses. I look forward to Book Four!
