Natural ways to turn back the clock. The latest information on how to become wrinkle resistant and fight the signs of aging.
A remark often made by middle-aged and older Americans reflects a philosophical (if erroneous) concept that converts time from a dimension (duration) as a cause of sickness and bodily degeneration; “Well, of course I have a little arthritis; I’m growing older”. In this philosophy, wrinkling of the skin, graying of the hair, cataracts and other degenerative diseases are seen as the inevitable and inescapable effects of time itself.
The authors of The Secrets of Staying Youngpresent authoritative, and accurate information concerning vital, complicated human nutritional processes in such an interesting and informative manner. Even as a physician I learned much from this book.
Each chapter has such a personal impact and meaning for the reader that they will stop and ponder as to how the facts and knowledge gained specifically apply to them. Many chapters will be reread several times. This book is well documented and is an excellent source of reference material. Here is a book for the physician and technically trained person as well as for the layperson. Non-medical people can expect technical knowledge expressed in direct yet simple understandable language, as far as food, diet and human nutrition are concerned. It will serve as a good review for even the physician, and will bring the nutritionist up to date.
How I wish I could have read this book before or during my medical school education, where today students tend to get lost among the trees of technical knowledge. It is difficult for them to grasp the broader perspectives; therefore, many doctors and their patients unfortunately suffer from malnutritional disease with resultant physical and mental deterioration.

| I agree with Dr. Bernard. But unfortunately people would rather give the totally responsibility for their health to someone else. I guess they would then have someone to blame their illness on. |
