Collection of Short Stories
All stories—be they strange, visionary, comforting or enigmatic—are about love. Love of our home, our friends, the Universe, or even of a tropical plant; love of your daughter, or just each other… Of love before we were born, and lonesome love of that which is gone forever. Love of an idea. Or even just love of writing. If you love Love, you’ll love these stories. Love makes us all one.

My favorite stories are The Miracle, Sutuffed Panda, Wondrous Flute, New Dress, Lovers... and the Jewel, of course. O.K. I loved them all! Thanks, Hanna B.

It is indeed a rare Jewel, wherein love is examined from so many different perspectives. Perhaps love really is a force that keeps the universe glued together. As usual, the quality we've learned to expect from Stan Law.

Stan doesn't need a lot of words or an entire novel to cast a spell upon us, and deliver very powerful and complicated messages. These short stories are fantastic.
I was so taken with "Delicious Monster (adapted from Marvin Clark)", that I immediately put this book down, purchased Marvin Clark, and read THAT from cover to cover before returning to these stories. Around the World is truly a memorable story, the depths Stan probes with the story "Lovers" is amazing, "Virus" provides us with a very intellectually stimulating tale, and "The Jewel" is just that!
All the stories provide us with a perfect blend of thought provoking, engrossing, and charming.
Stan is a truly gifted writer, and these short stories provide us with short views into his writing excellence.

I read some of the stories on Authors’ Den. Even as I re-read them now, they retained their freshness, their gentle yet engrossing charm that makes all Stan Law’s writing so enchanting to read. He seems to hover between realities which most of us hardly know exist. (Bozena H.)
I do not claim to be a literary critic, but I know what I like. And I defy anyone not to find at least some of these stories holding your undivided attention. You’ll want to read them all at one sitting. The whole collection is indeed a Jewel. (B. Czytelnik)
I downloaded, started reading and I couldn’t stop until the end. Law can play on your emotions like a seasoned virtuoso. Don’t try to resist him. Just enjoy the ride. Beautiful.
