There is a growing concern among African Americans on the validity of President Obama desire to help them. African Americans understand that he is not our president, but every citizen that American citizenship. The political climate has painted a grey sky over President Barack Obama presidency, because the fight over the deficit and sacrificing social programs has made him look unpresidential. Being President of the United States is a difficult job, and it seem that the President is catering to the republicans instead of standing up for principles of the Democratic Party. Black America understands that he has to first fix the hole President Bush left for him, and revive a sinking economy so the hardest hit Americans can find work.
In addition, black Americans stands behind their President, however, they have legitimate concerns, and he MUST start addressing them if he continues to need their support. The Presidents biggest critics are Tavis Smiley, Rush Limbaugh and conservative news channels, like FOX NEWS. Their critique of the President is unfair, and I do not understand Tavis Smiley rift, because states across America is being hit the hardest with economic woes, and blaming the President at this time is unwise. Now, FOX NEWS and analyst George Will are racist covered up with jargon of conservative free speech. The President is always in a dogfight with the Republicans and the fundamentally insane TEA PARTY advocates, therefore he needs to show them that he has the biggest bite amongst them, or quit. They do not want him to have a second term as President, and he knows he cannot let them win the white house or America would be doomed.
Mr. President, Black America is calling, and you need to answer your phone, so you can learn how to include them in your fight for democracy.
