 No Tears

I winked

Give him a chance to miss me

With my wand I stain

The color I need

In my house of sweat

Say it’s facing right

We’re under the moon

Following us around

Only to catch the sound

Of the neighbors echoing whispers

Hook her, hate she

Halloween is busy year round

So my deranged friend spoke

Then he, he was first to go mad

I with no desire of revenue

Stuck on the devils words

And what the good book says

His breath was venom

Possibly from Whiskey

Into his latex skins

Timeless alarm clocks and snooze

Wish he’d study government agencies

And get an important badge

He is one of the great minds

Of all time!

Fill the rooms

I took your words

And I’d believe

Forever was true

You’re just too cool

The cost of tricking

Where nothing is a treat

Closed eyes

Crocodile tears

Behind unlocked doors

In a curious room

No cut keys

So what can I do?

My destiny waits in my stillness

Is this the path I am to take?

Maybe destiny is found

While on the search for it

Odd thought

Nothing new

I loved and lost

Just what you’ve been through

Here is what I am going to do

It’s just a bad time

All a mystery and tricks

Capsule holds in a million tears

Excerpt

Each poem inspired from a moment of how life has been, how it is, and how it could be. moreunnecessarypoetry is a direct extension and continuation from book one. Hopefully continuing to touch a reader’s imagination, as nothing has done thus far.

Professional Reviews

william huff
Review by: William Huff on March 05, 2012 :
There is an grand awakening to be had in our world, where abusive behavior, selfishness, manipulation, deceit, and apathy simply fade away into oblivion.

And that world starts right here with Kimberly's heartfelt poetry. She exposes herself to an often brutally cold world, while simply driven to help others through the experiences and hard earned wisdom she's gained through her life's extremely difficult challenges.

Her poetry is incredibly creative, amazingly unique, a fresh perspective, and often, full of little discussed, yet critically important issues, and ultimately, she carries us, her precious readers, to very special and enlightening moments of joy, happiness, and tears.

What a precious gift Kimberly has given us, of herself, of her very unique and special perspective of life. I for one have enjoyed her two books immensely, and profoundly look forward to her many more books yet to come.

There is a line of reasoning that poetry grows from pain. Poetry enlightens, poetry stretches the imagination and poetry eases pain. You will find here on these pages, joy, tension, courage and wisdom. Challenge your senses go on a quest for truth. Expand your awareness go on a quest for good. Embrace this writing, advance your quest of beauty. Overcome your boredom.
