Do not start reading this book unless you have the time to finish it before you put it away. Nothing fascinates me more than a well written description of the truth behind successful people's rise to the top. The twist to this story is actually reality! The radical way in which their family functions gives the background with by which to better understand the girls and their game. On top of this magnificent story- you can learn a few pointers on improving your own game.

The book is great!! It was very, very interesting, I did not want to lay the book down. I am glad that Dave Rineberg took the time to write about his experiences with the Williams. He deserves the recognition for all of the hard work and time he gave. GO FOR IT DAVE!!!!!!!!!

And you thought fiction was fun. The truth behind the story of Venus and Serena's rise to fame, and the role their eccentric father Richard played in it, is more interesting than anything that could be made up. Rineberg does a great job of making the book easy to read and yet still enjoyable. It' chock full of stories of his experiences with the Williams sisters and their father that range from inspirational to downright bizzare. My personal favorite is a meeting between Rineberg and Ricard Williams at a local carwash to discuss Venus and Serena. The discreet location was hand-picked by Richard to avoid audio surveillance by the FBI! All in all, it's a great book. And I'm glad Rineberg is finally getting some of the recognition he deserves for the part he played in Venus and Serena's rise to the top. Well done!
