The major influence on my creative side was my mother, who took me to nearly every concert and live play or theatre performance available as a kid. She also introduced me to music - I learned classical piano for over 20 years - and of course my art and writing by encouraging reading and allowing me to constantly tell or write stories from my vivid imagination. My father encouraged my academic achievements, which helped me to obtain my teaching diploma and Degree. He taught me the self discipline needed to achieve my dream of becoming what I wanted to be. Both nearly 'Fainted' when I left teaching for the glamour of travel! My varied career path has helped to give me a very broad outlook on life which reflects in the flexibility and variety of genres in my writing."
