'Rhiannon-Epona' is a poem inspired by these two Celtic deities of love, travel and healing. Rhiannon is an ancient Welsh figure found in the Mabinogi and Epona is a ubiquitous Celtic continental goddess (but also found in Britain). Modern feminist thinking acknowledges the role of horse-woman relations.
